About me

My name is Vanessa Simili and I'm curios. Maybe that's why I became a journalist. I love to work with words. I use them to create. They are potential and that is fascinating me. With the project about women in farming I wanted to make visible a part of reality, that often remains unseen. The female part of farming. It's at least as important as the male part.

 

After my studies in German language and literature, Philosophy an International Relations I worked mainly in the cultural sector, but also as a teacher. For over ten years I've been running a text atelier, working on books and other products. And, the most sustainable part of my work: I'm a mother of two daugthers.  ​
